About the Fire Management Manual

The Fire Management Manual is updated and maintained by The Nature Conservancy's Fire Management Coordinator. That position is currently held by Paula Seamon, Director of Fire Management and Training for the Conservancy's Global Fire Team.

The Manual is intended solely for the use of Conservancy staff and volunteers involved in fire management operations on behalf of the Conservancy. No other persons or organizations should rely on the processes and documents found herein. Other individuals and organizations conducting fire management operations should perform independent research and consult their own legal and insurance counsel regarding the activities described herein.
